England take on China – Female Exhibition Match
Preamble
Greetings and welcome to the friendly game between England and China at London’s Wembley. The match is set to be a thriller with the reigning European champions taking on the reigning Asia Cup winners.
The home of English football is packed for the event, which will see Fran Kirby recognized pre-match after her retirement from the national team before the European Championship this past summer.
Lineup details will be announced shortly, but there was a last minute squad update for England. On Friday, Khiara Keating withdrew from the squad with a small issue, and so ex-first choice Ellie Roebuck has been called up.
With Hannah Hampton out of action, it will be interesting to see who head coach Sarina Wiegman selects in goal. This information and additional developments are on the way before the opening whistle at 5.30pm GMT.
